My Review:

I was anticipating Season 3 due to the ending of Voice Season 2. I would really like to know what happened to them and how the story will evolve. Season 3 is as exciting and darker than Season 2. It also got more personal with the characters especially in revealing Do Kang Woo’s background and why he is the way he is.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) Lee Ha Na has done a perfect job in making Kang Kwon Joo’s character real. Even though there’s no romantic connection between her and Do Kang Woo, Kang Kwon Joo loves her team like a family. Lee Ha Na gave a stellar performance on her conflict on how to handle Lee Jin Wook’s character Do Kang Woo.

(2) Lee Jin Wook who replaced Jang Hyuk in Season 2 was able to separate himself totally from the original lead in Season 1. He was able to successfully carry his own weight as part of the k-drama and gave visceral performance on his character that’s in deep conflict, Do Kang Woo.

(3) The villains in Season 3 are more intense in its evil works. Park Byung-Eun as Masayuki Kaneki and Kwon Yul as Bang Je Soo were so excellent in their performances that it gave me the chills. I like that writer made their characters at its unadulterated form without making excuses for who these characters are.

(4) I appreciated that OCN produced Season 3 and not allow Season 2 to be just the end of Voice, which is such a thrilling criminal drama.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

Voice 3 is not a perfect drama especially on how Kang Kwon Joo was able to survive the mayhem of Voice Season 2 ending. It is also sometimes don’t feel real because the characters recover so quickly with such physical assault on their bodies in dealing with their different enemies. Having said that, I still enjoyed this k-drama from Season 1-3. It was worth watching even its weaknesses to make it more realistic.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? Yes
