Sources & Links

Your Gateway to KDrama & Movies

I am very similar to a lot of K-Drama and Movie addicts out there, we browse and read review sites and check out what we may fancy to watch when we get the time. I have bookmarked a vast number of sites and sometimes I wonder if it can still be called a bookmark.

I remember when I first started watching K-Movies and then delve into my first K-Drama series there are some things I can’t understand nor can comprehend. Even if I am Asian, there’s a lot of Korean culture I can’t phantom why they do what they do. I am sharing the sources and links that helped me through the years…more than a decade already. I must say the arrangement of the sources and links are from Outside Seoul website as she has painstakingly arranged already majority of the sites I have, so, the credit must go to the author of that website. Anyway, before the major list of sources and links that I will re-post as a sign of my thanks to all these wonderful people out there who took time to build their websites and provide information the way I want it, I would like to give special mention to sites whom made my search truly hassle- free with so much rich information that are generously given. I just wish I can pay forward through my humble website.

(1) Koreanwiz.org– this is the very first site that gave me almost everything that is basic about Korea and its films and drama. I believe it is one of the longest website that still remain true when it started. You can almost find any information you would like to know in any K-Drama there is. I will always be grateful to whoever you are.

(2) Mysoju.com– at that time there’s not much site that streams K-Dramas and Movies including reviews and their guide of their own favorites. Through their site I was able to watch and read reviews for quite some time with relative ease and manipulation. Internet is not yet a part of our way of life unlike now. So, I will always be grateful for them for that.

(3) Crunchyroll– like Mysoju.com, Crunchyroll were one of those sites who provided K-Drama and Movie streams. I have watched a lot of movies from their site before and even was able to download them. Unfortunately, probably due to restrictions and prohibitions they are now more on the anime videos. So, salute to this site for all the years they gave me to enjoy my addiction to K-Movies and Dramas.

(4) Outside Seoul– Her review site I believe is one of the best there is. Relatively more accurate than not in comparison to others. I somehow get connected with who she is even if I don’t know her through the way she writes. I hope I can write like her. I feel that her reviews comes from the heart and not because she’s earning from it. She’s the one who inspired me to write my own reviews. Unfortunately, it seems she hasn’t updated her site for a bit more than a year now. I hope she will continue to write and review the K-Dramas and Movies. And, hope that the only reason why she’s not writing is just because she doesn’t have time. Thank you for writing such entertaining and pleasurable reviews.

(5) KDramalove– Like Outside Seoul, the author of this site write such comprehensive reviews. The review comes from where the author’s heart belongs to. Unlike other review sites that clearly writes because they are earning somehow from it, this one seems to write the reviews independently. Same as Outside Seoul, not all the time we are in agreement about the review or the rating given but you can respect the opinion and more or less you will end up feeling the same way about the K-Drama or Movie as the review said. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So, to these special sites…my deepest gratitude. Here are the sources and lists you may want to visit for information, reviews, news, updates, music downloads and others (NOTE: This is mostly done by Outside Seoul Website with certain updates from me. So the credit is on that website not mine.):
