My Review:

Honestly, I watched this K-Drama because of Kwon Sang Woo. I wouldn’t have been so addicted to the K-Drama World if not for him. He was my first idol that I never experienced to have when I was young. However, as of late, Kwon Sang Woo’s projects are K-Dramas or Movies that truly disappointed me. Even if I am a fan I can’t close my eyes and deny the fact that the stories he’s involved him totally sucks. Even my admiration for him can’t resuscitate the dismal recent projects he was in. Until now. This K-Drama doesn’t necessarily rock my world, so to speak, but, it is certainly decent and entertaining enough to captivate my attention and continue watching it. Kwon Sang Woo became an icing in the cake.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) Though the K-Drama deals with crimes with a slightly dark undertone, the manner it was delivered was quite light and entertaining.

(2) Kwon Sang-Woo exudes charm as he always does. Maybe I’m bias as I am a huge fan but it is still great to see him act especially on the scene at the 16th episode in the forest. I won’t tell because it will let you know part of the mystery. It is a good feeling to watch him and at the same time enjoy the K- Drama that he’s on where the story doesn’t totally suck and I can truly like.

(3) I like certain cases such as the first case where the father-in law is involved in the murder of his daughter-in-law and the copycat killer of the tape serial killer. They are quite enganging.

(4) I am in quandary whether I like the ending or not. In some way, I did, because it left me a certain mystery unanswered, depicts real life because we never really get to know all the answers and a chance or a possibility for another season.

(5) I like the supporting actors and their stories. They add into the flavor of the story rather than lingers for so long that it irritates you.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

There’s not much I don’t like about this K-Drama long enough to pester me and make me feel like a simpleton who is stupid enough to watch it when I have so many things to do and waste my very little precious time to rest nowadays on it.

(1) If there’s one thing I don’t like about K-Dramas time and time and again is when the director ignores the significance of small details. The best example is when Ha Wan-Seung got shot, why is the bandage placed in the jeans and not directly right on his leg?

(2) Honestly, I can’t seem to connect with the lead actress they’ve chosen to play Yoo Seol-Ok. However, she’s quite a good iactress because even if I can’t relate to her, she can bring the character to life and make the story enjoyable. I just wish they got someone else.

(3) The ending. As I’ve said, I’m in quandary whether to like it or not. There’s some part I didn’t like because there’s a main question in my head that was never really answered by the story after watching the entire 16 episodes.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? Yes.
