  • My Review:

I tried to watched this K-drama as there’s not much better to watch after seeing most I do like. It is a romcom anyway and I know the actors. Over-all it is not that bad, although, it is a pale comparison to “Because This Is My First Life” on which this K-drama is compared to since Jung So-Min starred that K-Drama and have similarities in plot.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

    (1) I like both the leading actors as they are both good with their work especially Kim Ji-Suk as Yoo Ja-Sung. His comedic and vulnerability as a successful businessman and, yet, clueless in being in a relationship is quite on point and endearing.

    (2) I like Chae Jung-An as Yeo Ui-Joo. She excellently portrayed a strong woman yet a great friend. I also like her scene when he expressed to Nam Sang-Soon played by Ahn Chang-Hwan why she changed her mind about not wanting to marry him. This scene is one of the scenes on this K-drama in my humble opinion, will resonate to many who went through it.

    (3) I totally agree on some of the tips given on how to own a home and how to save up money for it. Though the advice given was delivered in a stern manner by the character, they were still sound advice.

    (4) It is quite true that one’s home reflects who lives in it. So, I enjoyed the fabulous houses they featured, but, the message was clear between the difference of a house and a home.

    (5) Though there are quite a lot of side stories, these stories enhanced it rather than just the usual fillers sometimes added to make the story of the k-drama longer that often bores or irritates me.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

    (1) It is quite predictable, so, I skipped some of the last few episodes.

    (2) I don’t understand why Na Young-Won has to break up with Yoo Ja-Sung, and, later in the end, it seems it’s not going to be an issue after all. The situation has not changed and they just wasted 3 years.

    (3) There are many coincidences which often becomes unbelievable already.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? It is just okay.
