My Review:

When I watched this k-drama I didn’t know that it was an adaptation or an inspired UK drama series. So, I got into it without much expectations except curious on how this will play out especially since k-dramas are more conservative than korean films and by the title itself and the adult tone of the premise I was quite interested to see how the production will deliver this on TV. It is a good thing that I didn’t expect much because, honestly, it was one of those k-dramas I will consider a total waste of time.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) Ha Ga In is a good actress and after quite some time of hiatus from entertainment, she still has the talent to act.

(2) The rest of the casts are also good and it will allow one to continue at least 2-3 more episodes in watching it.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

Korean dramas are best when they do their own script. They are not very good when it comes to adaptations of western series except probably “Life On Mars”. Though the actresses here are great like Ha Ga In, her particular character doesn’t suit her persona as an actress. She wasn’t able to get off from her conservative, goody girl image to play a role as provocative as this one. Her character wasn’t able to grow because of her personal limitations, which I assume, especially considering she’s married and a mother in real life. It also doesn’t help that there are scenes that are so ridiculous that I can’t stop myself but cringe. It seems some characters have a supernatural ability to live even with much physical battery. And, generally, though, it was supposed to be suspenseful, I simply just find it literally dragging and boring.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? No.
