My Review:

I watched this k-drama not knowing much of the lead actors. The only reasons why I got interested are because of 2 things, one, the premise sounds interesting and I love suspense thrillers which OCN seems to be good at and, two, I wanted to see the other works of Kim Min Gyu. I saw him at “Because This is My First Life” and got interested on watching him other k-dramas he’s in. I know it sounds shallow but I like to see his other works besides this k-drama is only 10-Episodes long, thus, how can it hurt, right?

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) I like that the story is a blend of suspense, romance and fantasy. It does made the entire thing interesting to watch. However, it became a bit predictable in the end as it lays out the characters, but, I guess, it can’t be help as it is only a 10-episode drama.

(2) I do like the actors except when the main leads, Jung Yoon Ho as Yoo Eun Ho and Kyung Soo Jin as Han Ye Ri or Han Joo Ri are acting cutesy and cheesy. It makes me cringe especially since they are already adults and not in high school. Honestly, they weren’t able to pull it off unlike other actors who can make scenes like this work.

(3) Kim Min Gyu’s part maybe short but as expected he does act well. He didn’t disappoint. I hope he will have major roles in the future.

(4) Jung Yoon Ho looks like the lower version of Jo In-Sung and the upper version of Ju Ji-Hoon. He is good to look at but his smile is a bit artificial and still needs to improve his way of acting.

(5) I like the OST and enjoyed listening to it especially “Say I Love You”

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

As I didn’t expect much when I watched this k-drama, my disappointment on certain parts didn’t affect me much. It was passable and since it is only a 10-episode k-drama, I can’t complaint much on its flaws.

(1) I find the stupidity of Jung Yoon Ho as Yoo Eun Ho on Episode 9. He can’t even fight well yet he expects he can solve and save Han Ye Ri without involving the police.

(2) I find some of the romantic scenes too cheesy and fake. It makes me cringe as it is so juvenile. Although, the kissing scenes are okay and better than others I’ve seen that’s so fake.

(3) I didn’t like much most of the supporting characters. They are forgettable or sometimes irritating.

(4) In the short period of time, this k-drama could have delivered a tight and better way of presenting it. It has good premise and could have been great. Unfortunately, it seems the director and the writer/s seem to fall in the same trap of most k-dramas to focus more on what typical romcom should be. Unfortunately, it wasn’t able to achieve it successfully, in my book.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? It’s Okay.
