My Review:

This K-Drama concentrates more in action of fighting crimes and legal procedures rather than the romantic aspects typical to a K-Drama romcom. Although, it still does have some elements of romance and few of the typical commonality seen in almost all K-Dramas such as the backend of the story starts almost always during the younger years of the lead characters. I find this K-Drama enjoyable to watch and not boring, however, there are still flaws such as I always wonder why K-Dramas portray more often than not of having a highly specialized police group yet they act so stupidly on police procedures. I can probably understand if it is just ordinary police or detectives but these are supposed to be special group which logically should mean better than the rest, right?

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) It has different stories for the first few episodes that tackles different issues. And, it gets resolved without dragging its resolutions. Best samples on the case on Episode 5 & 6.
(2) From the very first episode, you have a very clear understanding of the change of heart and motivations of Ha Dae Chul. It was a nice touch to use the photos of Yoo Min Hee and the physical scars of his biological father to show this what motivates him.
(3) Ha Dae Chul’s relationship with his father. The journey on how Ha Dae Chul’s attitude change from indifference to love. While, Jong Do Song, his father, from selfishness to becoming a real definition of what an ideal loving father should be.
(4) The scene on Episode 7 where Ha Dae Chul is the guest for dinner in his biological mother’s home. All have their own secrets to keep but requires to act so normal among each other. This was one fine acting among all the actors.
(5) There are a lot of funny moments that made this K-Drama enjoyable to watch especially Jang Ho Shik, who became Ha Dae-Chul’s sidekick.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

Not a lot I don’t like about this K-Drama. They are not too much of consequence that it matters too much to me. What mostly bothers me are some errors on police and judicial protocols which I always see in almost all K-Drama don’t put proper attention to details especially if the genre precisely deals with this topic such as this K-Drama.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? Yes.
