My Review:

As I thoroughly enjoyed Investigation Couple Season 1, like any other k-drama series that I find great, it is a given that I will watch the second season of this k-drama. And, like Season 1, it is filled with great cases and corruption that’s extremely entertaining to watch.

(1) I’m glad that the majority of its characters are present in the second season with the exception of very few main characters who are missing like Stephanie Lee as Stella Hwang who was replaced by Kang Seung Hyun as Sally. This helps with feel of continuity of the k-drama and like US TV series, it makes the audience invested to care about the characters especially that the main leads are still present on the next season.

(2) Both the leads Jung Jae Young as Baek Bum and Jung Yoo Mi as Eun Sol plus its supporting casts made this second season still thrilling to watch.

(3) I am impress with the screen presence of No Min Woo as Jang Chul or Dr. K. He has projected both his good and evil side really well and in a way built a level of sympathy and empathy to the audience who are watching like me on the horrendous childhood background he has. That’s why child abuse is one criminal activity for me that’s border to be unforgivable.

(4) The fast pace and the scientific process by which they solve the cases are well done and makes you learn even more how one can be so diabolic in making sure that their crime remains unsolved. It is a scary thing to think that one can get away with a crime and can make it look like an accident. As they say Evil flourishes when Good Men do nothing. And, in the real world not all Forensic Pathologists is as thorough and smart as Baek Bum, who even doesn’t care about the politics except for the truth to be revealed.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

There’s really nothing much I can say that I didn’t like about the second season of this k-drama except the hanging ending that will be very frustrating for me if MBC will not produce a 3rd season which unlike US TV series is always a given unless cancelled by the TV network due to poor ratings.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? Yes
