My Review:

It is always good to watch a variety of genre in Korean dramas, so, one will not get choke out of too much tasting the same flavour. It took me awhile to consider watching this K-drama on Netflix until I realised that Joo Ji Hoon, the actor in “Kingdom” is the lead actor here, so, I got curious in checking it out and see him outside the infested world of zombies.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) Kim Hye Soo as Jung Geum Ja and Joo Ji Hoon as Yoon Hee Jae have a natural chemistry together and they made the entire story totally entertaining and interesting. I’ve read that the character of Jung Geum Ja was supposedly initially offered to Song Hye Kyo and turned it down which I believe in the end turn out for the best. As much as I love Song Hye Kyo as an actress, I don’t think the character of Jung Geum Ja will fit her. In the end, it went to the right actress who can pull it off and will fit well to Joo Ji Hoon as Yoon Hee Jae.

(2) I have seen a lot of legal Korean dramas and this is probably one of the best in terms of making it truly entertaining. It wasn’t just politics and legal brouhaha but the process of figuring out the truth.

(3) I’m glad that South Korean entertainment are beginning to feature characters of powerful women who can make decisions on their lives independent of a man.

(4) Although, the love angle is not much given a top priority here but whatever was shown mattered. The love between the main characters was handled with the right dose, passion, reason and significance to the story.

(5) I like the pacing of the story and certain angles of the cases that made it engaging and not typically presented legal cases usually seen in Korean legal melodrama.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

All in all, there’s not much I can complain about this K-drama. It was done at a level that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? Yes.
