My Review:

I watched this k-drama because it was highly recommended by a lot of review sites that I visit. It is a good thing I tried to watch it after delaying so much to do so because I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. It was one of the k-dramas that tackles about real issues in life yet entertaining to watch.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) It was a good comeback for Kim Tae Hee after being gone for quite awhile from doing projects. She’s still beautiful as ever and she did justice to the role of Cha Yoo Ri. She did what she does well and do “goody” and “nice girls” role, however, I liked her better on the episode when she became a bit human and wanted to be selfish. I thought her character will be just one dimensional until that scene.

(2) Lee Kyu Hyung as Jo Kang Hwa provided more depth to the story. For me, he was the main reason I ended up staying and watch the k-drama as he was able to brilliantly depict his role of a man indeed in a difficult situation.

(3) I love the friendship among the women, Cha Yu-Ri, Oh Min Jung and Ko Hyun Jung. You are indeed very lucky if you can have that kind of friendship in your life.

(4) I like Go Bo Kyul as Oh Min Jung than the role of Kim Tae Hee. She showed what power of love can do to someone and due to it, one is willing to sacrifice for the sake of the other.

(5) The K-drama tackles the value of life and the meaning of death. Although, the manner by which this is handled was light, it can make one think what we should do while we are alive and what we will be when we die. What I found profound was when in the ending, the character said that when you die, the Gods will ask you 2 questions so you can become human again: Are you happy with your life because of the people around you? And, are the people around you happy because of you? If your answer is both yes, you’ll come back to this world. I guess, I won’t be coming back as human. Thank goodness, lol!

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

This K-drama is absolutely entertaining but it did lack the x-factor wherein I can consider this to be one of my favorites. One can enjoy it from start to finish especially the heartrending story depicting the love of a mother to her daughter, however, as a whole it was just good.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? Yes
