My Review:

When I saw that this drama has Lee Jin-Wook who starred in Nine Time Travels I was quite excited to see this K-Drama. He was really good in that. But, it seems this is all about what’s good about this K-Drama. Unfortunately, even Lee Jin-Wook’s character and the manner it was delivered is even a disappointment. Initially, I thought that maybe I am in the funk of getting over my love for Descendants of the Son (DOTS) and it maybe affecting my judgement. So, I went ahead to try and see more of it after Episode 1 but it never really got my interest. For one thing, there’s really nothing original about the revenge plot except probably changing some of the scenery and have one of the locations in Thailand. It even tried simulating the action of DOTS by having Cha Ji-Won as a Navy Seal. It tried to achieved actions scenes that can be at best okay but I rather watch the actions scenes and feeling of suspense of Healer and Cruel City. I also didn’t connect with Moon Chae-Won as Kim Swan. Their kissing scene at the ending with her mouth close leaves me cold. I read other reviews and it seems it gained popularity after DOTS ended its run but for me it never gained any traction at all. After Episode 4, I had enough of the passé and check the ending hoping that maybe knowing the ending I’ll be curious enough to see it backwards just so I can understand why it happened the way it happened but the ending, although, happy told the synopsis of the entire story that there’s nothing I can even be curious about to check and watch the episodes backward. It was such a disappointment and, thus, like Come Back Mister, it truly pales in comparison to DOTS. Some may say this is better because it has a story line but I will take DOTS without a storyline any time if I will base it in entertainment value.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

Probably some of the OST.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama? I think I’ve said it all and I am glad I only wasted space on my hard drive to save it rather than my time watching the entire thing.

Would I recommend this K-Drama?
Nope, but, you can try. You may end up liking it better than I do.
