My Review:

I’m not particularly fond of Jang Na Ra’s acting. She’s one of those popular korean actresses that I am not so enamoured with their talent as an actor. Having said that, she tends to choose good scripts to perform, thus, majority of her k-dramas I have watched and seen. Though the plot of this k-drama has been done before what made me fully decide to watch it is because of Jang Ki Yong, whom I recently discovered and admire from the just ended k-drama “My Mister”. He is not only so yummy but he can certainly act.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) I like the depiction of how real marriage is more often than not. This k-drama was able to show some of the challenges married couples encounter to work on in order to have a lasting marriage without making it too dark in terms of tone. One can relate but still find humour on its truths.

(2) I find the male actors more engaging than the female ones, such as Son Ho Joon as Choi Ban Do and Jang Ki Yong as Jung Nam Gil with the exception probably Kim Mi Kyung as Ko Eun Sook. She was spectacular in being the mother of Ma Jin Joo.

(3) I was totally affected by the relationship between mother and daughter, Ko Eun Sook and Ma Jin Joo, respectively. There was a scene between them that they made me totally cry and these days, believe me, it takes a lot for me to cry anymore in k-dramas and films.

(4) The stark differences on how a man and a woman thinks or deals with things are aptly shown in this k-drama. This difference is normally the root cause why relationships in general fails between a man and a woman, and, more so, obviously, in a lifetime commitment such as marriage.

(5) I like the OST and appreciate the shorter 12 episodes.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?
It is an enjoyable k-drama but it is not a spectacular one the I will rave about. It is just average for me.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? Yes, especially it only has 12 episodes. Interesting and short.
