My Review:

Lately, it’s really hard to find a romcom that I can fully enjoy without the story of the k-drama being passé or won’t make me cringe or bore me to tears. Most of the time they are run of the mill and what generally saves the day that allows me to enjoy the recent romcoms are the great talent of the actors in it. “Clean with Passion for Now”, unfortunately, was not that different from the rest, however, unlike the others, this k-drama presented its story in a much better pace with less snooze fest. Thankfully, it also does not have much ridiculous scenes that can make me cringe that in the end, over all, I finished the entire 16 episodes with a smile.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) Kim Yoo Jung as Gil Oh Sol definitely save the day for this k-drama. She’s beautiful and thank God can really act. Although, I observe she may not have much chemistry with Yoon Kyun Sang as Jang Sun Kyul, in the end she and Yoon Kyun Sang have passably course through the story well together as a pair. It is good to note that I appreciate that their intimate scenes like the kissing kind were done well and in tune with the story.

(2) The supporting actors are also okay and have provided good support to the story. I find Kim Won Hae as Gil Gong Tae truly exceptional on this k-drama. He provided justice on his character as the father of Gil Oh Sol and made me feel more connected with the story.

(3) I appreciate that the writer took some time to research the condition of mysophobia and shown basis on why Jang Sun Kyul developed it in the first place. Having said that, he developed the condition since childhood and has been undergoing treatment since then and yet in a matter of 2 years, he got totally cured.

(4) I like the OST.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

As I’ve mentioned, it has really been hard to find romcom nowadays that will truly tickle my fancy like DOTS did to me. And, although, this k-drama didn’t exactly come out better with its predictability but it certainly a much improved story line than all others previous to this one.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? It is okay to watch.
