My Review:

I should admit that I watched this K-Drama because I’m left with nothing good to watch anymore and got convinced to try and watch it by one of the blog reviews I trust. I must say the review was accurate to a T. If you are indeed in the mood for a great love story, then, this is one of the best I’ve seen.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?
(1) I can’t resist but swoon on both the male actors that played Park Dong Joo during his younger and adult years.

(2) All the actors and actresses even the ones with the smallest parts have delivered such an excellent acting chops especially Kim Yeo Jin as Yoo Jung Hwa, playing the mother of Park Dong Joo and Kang Ha Neul as Park Dong Joo during his younger self.

(3) The relationship of the Yoo Jung Hwa and Park Dong Joo as mother and son. I am so use to K-Dramas with parents that are some times so frustratingly unreasonable or they are the ones that creates the problems of the main characters for the story that it is really refreshing to see my definition of love of a mother towards their children that is not warp and dysfunctional.

(4) This is one of the K-Drama wherein all the characters are played so well and each was given a proper ending.

(5) In every episode there’s something that will touch you.

(6) One of the best soundtrack I’ve ever heard in a K-Drama. Normally, I only like just one or even don’t notice it as I don’t understand the lyrics but this one I love to play it over and over again especially Love Too Much rendered by Yoon Gun (listen to it below).

(7) It has the right touch of kissing scenes. I know K-Drama are notorious for being chaste and conservative when it comes to physical contact. They prefer that you feel the love rather than see it. But, sometimes, it gets frustrating because the scene truly demands it to give a touch of reality. And, this K-Drama provided at least moments that shows you can feel as well as see.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

Even if I don’t want it to end as it is truly a beautiful story that my synopsis doesn’t give justice to the story…I have to say though that the story was too much drawn out that it kinda damage what could have been a flawless romantic K-Drama. Because of this I somehow started to dislike the stupidity of Yoon Soo Wan’s character at the latter part just so there’s still a story. I actually prefer Nam Ji Hyun rather than Koo Hye Sun as Yoon Soo Wan. I also prefer the younger version of the love story and if not for Lee Sang Yoon’s potrayal of  Park Dong Joo it would probably be mediocre in the end. I think Park Dong Joo’s love is the Angel Eyes.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? Bottom line, this is one of the best K-Drama romantic melodrama I’ve watched.
