My Review:
I watched this thrilling drama in 2011 and I really don’t mind watching it again to do the review now. This is a K-Drama that brings every episode a new case to solve for the lead and, since, it’s been 5 years I’ve seen it last, the feeling of suspense of watching some episodes I’ve already forgotten is still of the same intensity. This is one of the rare K-Dramas that’s truly worth to waste your time on. It was done very well from the writing down to the acting of each characters.
So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?
(1) Yeon Jung-Hoon as Min Tae-Yeon is brilliant on this K-Drama. He bring such depth to his character.
(2) Every episode is a treat with new story along the main characters. So, it is like watching CSI Korean style.
(3) It is one of the Korean dramas that doesn’t botch crime scenes except when Min Tae-Yeon needs to be alone in the crime scene to do his thing. Thus, makes it forgivable in my eyes, after all he’s already solving the crime.
(4) The effects are quite impressive. You can see it in a lot of shots. I’m not into technical when I do my review, but, wow, even a novice like me can appreciate how the shots are delivered to give the right effect to the scene. Truly well done.
(5) The supporting actors give some quirks and humor to the story. And, even if the theme is about crimes and vampires, the delivery of the story by the director is exceptional. You enjoy the suspense and don’t feel the gore.
What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?
There’s really nothing not to like. I enjoy every minute of it before and every minute now when I both watched it.
Would I recommend this K-Drama? Yes, Strongly Recommends It.
