My Review:

I have watched this k-drama because after a long drought of good romcoms, I got into the groove of appreciating watching suspense thrillers plus Ok Taecyeon is the lead actor, who is one of my favorite Korean actors. Didn’t really expect so much but, alas, it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise indeed. It has been quite a long time since I’ve been totally captured by a K-Drama from the very 1st episode till the last since DOTS. It may not have reached the popularity of DOTS but my excitement as I await the next episode week after week feels exactly the same and I must say it was worth the wait.

So, What do I Like About this K-Film?

(1) Ok Taecyeon didn’t disappoint me in his portrayal of Kim Tae Pyung and he chose well in doing this k-drama as his first after his military discharge. He is really very effective in doing this kind of roles and this genre similar to “Save Me”.

(2) The plot and story was very compelling and exciting from the very first episode to the last. It didn’t waste too much time on useless scenes.

(3) I love that I can’t really guess most of what will happen next and it took me awhile to guess who’s the villain. It has truly live up to its suspense genre.

(4) Im Joo Hwan seems to be very effective in this kind of roles similar to what he did on “Oh My Ghostess” K-Drama. He is very good in drawing you to feel empathy to his character even if you abhor his character’s actions and deeds. On this k-drama, he successfully can make the audience feel a certain sadness and sympathy for his character, Jo Hyun Woo, even if it didn’t excuse the monstrosities of what he did.

(5) The casts did a stellar performance especially the police team. There’s chemistry among them and enjoy the camaraderie among them as they solve the case.

What I do Not Like About this K-Film?

This K-drama has been flawless until Seo Joon Young’s character decided to do something really out of character on Episode 14 considering they are after a very dangerous criminal. She had not only put herself into danger, but, all the rest of her team especially since she knows that the predictions were never wrong. It disappointed me that the writer made the character stupid on this part by making her do something without any plan or goal and obviously done only to have a reason why the prediction came true. However, at the end of the day, even with its flaws, this is one great suspense thriller.

Would I recommend this K-Film? A Definite Yes.
