My Review:

I must admit that the very first and main reason why I got interested to watch this K-Drama is no other than Kwon Sang-Woo. I mean my entire site and my being K-Drama addict spawn from him, so, of course, I would like to see and watch him in any movie or K-Drama’s he will be in. More so, that he will be starring here with Choi Ji-Woo. It is like double pleasure as I can enjoy watching them again after a long time since Stairway to Heaven, the culprit of why I became ridiculously addicted to what is all K-Drama. It actually became the marketing strategy of this K-Drama, so, people will watch it. Having said that, it pains me to say, Do NOT watch this K-Drama. Even in my wildest dream I would think I would utter that recommendation to any of Kwon Sang-Woo’s works but this one I have to. They both risked their reputation as actors on this K-Drama but I wouldn’t do that even if I am his fan. This K-Drama is a disaster and unworthy to be done by two of my favorite K-Drama actors. I have no idea why in heaven’s name they even considered doing this at that kind of script and level of direction the story led into. The initial premise of the story is actually interesting and quite provocative but it was the execution and the way the story became into that removes all the pleasure of making it even entertaining even to an adoring fan like me. I’m not even into technical drama or movie reviews because I review just base on the story for entertainment sake and at least pleasurable to watch without treating the audience like morons but this one take the cake of being boring and ridiculous. Not even my love for Kwon Sang-Woo can save this K-Drama as worthy of the time you will spend watching it.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) I like Kwon Sang-Woo and Choi Ji-Woo being together again in a K-Drama.

(2) I like the premise of the story. It is like the Korean version of the American Film “Indecent Proposal” with Demi Moore and Robert Redford but this time, it is the other way around. It is the woman who is doing it. It is quite liberating to see a K-Drama with the woman who is in charge and the power to do as she pleases. It is out of character for Korean dramas to do something so liberal in quite a conservative culture.

(3) The first few episodes are quite interesting to watch as it somehow excites me on what will happen next to the story.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

Well, after the initial premise of the plot was presented and the excitement to see how the characters will be reacting after the first few episodes then it went downhill really bad. I’m not even talking about the morality issues here. I’m very realistic with people most of the time truly can be bought by money. I’m not from the righteous and wishful lot of putting mankind in high esteem when it comes to what one will react given certain situations that may put one to become a horrible human being. It is always easy to judge and think you are not like that but the reality is you’ll never really know until you are on that bad situation urging you to do bad things. That’s not even why I didn’t like this K-Drama. I detested this drama because it was a waste of good talents of the actors on a really bad treatment of the story. I don’t know what they really want to make of the characters. I think the makers are confused because they want the audience to still make Choi Ji-Woo’s character, Yoo Se-Young, loveable inspite of her character’s flaws and same goes to the character of Kwon Sang-Woo. The director and whoever created the story to continue the way it is, is more concerned on the bankability of the two major stars and protecting them to have characters not so despicable to their fans. So, they weave their story wherein they have to make sure that Choi Ji-Woo’s character will rise above to the initial premise of what she did by making her sick. And, same with the weakling character of Kwon Sang-Woo. This was such a disaster and the focus on the business rivalry and the destruction of the character of Na Hong-Joo just put the nail of its coffin to lay down to rest to one of the worst K-Drama I’ve ever seen in a decade.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? 110% NO

My Rating to this Drama: 1 Star, I was so stupid enough to have wasted my time to watch all the 20 episodes.
