Synopsis:
It is a story of 3 strong and driven women who thrived in the business world dealing with web portal service. Bae Ta Mi worked for so many years at Unicon with her good friend, Song Ga Kyung. Together with her she felt that she has spent her time and efforts well until she realized that’s not exactly the case. While Song Ga Kyung ended up marrying the son of KU Group, a big conglomerate in South Korea. She got into an arrange marriage when her parents went bankrupt in their business. While Cha Hyun, whose dream is to be part of the Olympics for judo was shattered when she tried to save Song Ga Kyung from the bullies when they were young. Song Ga Kyung helped her to finish her studies and find a new career which is now a direct competitor of Unicon, Barro. The three women went through challenges both personal and professional as they navigate to find their own niche and survive this cruel world

My Review:
I watched this k-drama because of Jang Ki Yong and it was indeed icing on the cake that this k-drama are both engaging and entertaining at the same time. It is also great to see that the very conservative korean culture is beginning to move with the times and have a produced a k-drama that features strong women and their journey.
(1) Im Soo Jung as Bae Ta Mi, Lee Da Hee as Cha Hyun and Jun Hye Jin as Song Ga Kyung did really well in portraying their roles. I love Bae Ta Mi’s character of standing up for her principles even if her beliefs is a total antithesis of what society dictates to be the norm. Cha Hyun’s blend of being physically capable of defending herself and the child-like need to love and accepted are endearing. While Song Ga Kyung, who was bitterly changed by what life dealt with her but was able to find herself again is quite inspiring.
(2) Jang Ki Yong as Park Mo Gun didn’t disappoint me as he depicts his character on this k-drama. The more I see him in k-dramas and films, the more I become a fan. He truly have the rare quality of having both the looks and the talent. His dialogues, intimate and dramatic scenes with Im Soo Jung as Bae Ta Mi were immensely engaging and brings up all sorts of feeling within you. This kind of love stories is one of the reasons why women no matter how strong and capable they are still yearns for romantic love. Having a man like that to love you was to die for.
(3) The supporting casts were excellent and their roles were not intrusive, thus, they successfully did what their roles were to be and that is to provide support.
(4) I like stories that remains true to its characters. This k-drama made its characters believable and stick to who they are no matter what the audience expect them to be. They don’t miraculously change their ways just because the public demands it and just like their “real time key-words” issue it has to remain true and unadulterated as real as it can be.
(5) I like the OST
What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?
I honestly can say that this k-drama are one of the few that gave me a nice surprise of enjoying it while it lasts and sad now that it’s finished. So, there’s really nothing I want to change in its entirety.
Would I recommend this K-Drama? A Definite Yes
