Synopsis:

Soo-Jung, a marketing executive who’s in a relationship with his boyfriend for 10 years started her day in a very strange way. She got hit by basketball in the head, mess up her coat and shoes, force to wear red high heels she doesn’t normally wear, and ended up sitting with a good looking guy who seems arrogant enough to confidently say that by the end of the day they will sleep together. That man is Jae-Hyun. He is a good looking and successful sports agent on his way to Busan to convince his friend to sign up and not give up his contract for the once in a lifetime chance to play at the NBA just because of a girl. He ends up sitting beside Soo-Jung whom for some reason took his fancy. As fate have it, they were both going to Busan to see the same person, Kang Jin-Chul. My Review:

So, What do I Like About this K-Movie?

I don’t have much expectations on this film when I downloaded it to watch it. I just read the title of the film randomly in the Top Ten List of k-movies and it so happen that it is one of those that I haven’t seen yet. And, though, I’ve watched both the leading actors here on one of the hundreds k-dramas I’ve seen, they’ve never really registered to me as my must watch actors until now. This k-film is one of the sweetest adult korean romcom I’ve ever watched. Although, the theme is for adults but the manner it was tackled was amusing, sweet and somehow unassuming. One can actually relate to both the characters if you are a woman who is in a dead end relationship and a guy who can have everything he wants and doesn’t think much of the effect of his short affairs to the other person until it happened to him. This film was so entertaining and was depicted well by the actors that I have immensely enjoyed watching it. I also have to make a special mention to Jo Jae-Yoon as Senior Kang who made me totally laugh out loud. He’s hilarious in this film. There’s one liners I love in this film, “I wish we could make that day, our everyday” and “Today, if you’re fine with it, I’m going to sleep with you”. Daebak in romance!

What I do Not Like About this K-Movie?

Some may say that the plot is similar to a lot of films already shown but, for me, there’s simply none I can find that will mar my enjoyment.

Would I recommend this K-Movie? 110% Yes
