My Review:

I watched this K-Drama because I got curious of the premise. As of late, there are a lot of Korean dramas that took this topic of time travel and parallel worlds into different stories. There are some that incorporated it into a romantic genre, others in crime drama set-up while others into really a full blown sci-fi genre. However, not all K-Dramas who tackled this plot became successful in my book because they often get derailed of successfully making something illogical logical and stay true to the premise they’ve given as possible explanations and results within that premise. Others tend to just use this plot without even explaining anything except to just use to make the K-Drama’s story seems different from others, but, at the end, the story is actually as the same as the rest like being a simple love story with the element of parallel world just thrown to the mix to make it seemingly different. So, lo and behold when I finally I got to watch a K-Drama with this plot and been really true to the ground rules they’ve set for the existence of parallel worlds and time difference.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) I have seen Shin Sung-Rok in many Korean dramas doing different roles and I believe, he is indeed one of the most versatile actors out there in the Korean entertainment industry. He is not the typical heartthrob, but, he can definitely act and bring truthfulness to whatever character given to him into life. He can both be the protagonist or the antagonist of the story and what’s great about him is that either way he can make his characters believable that one can either love or hate depending on the roles he is playing. This K-Drama is certainly a highlight of his talent as an actor.

(2) Lee Se-Young has certainly gave justice to her role as Han Ae-Ri, giving both her character’s vulnerability and strength into the forefront and make it believable.

(3) The supporting casts were great but Ahn Bo-Hyun as Seo Do-Kyun and Nam Guy-Ri as Kang Hyun-Chae were brilliant. They made their story so interesting enough that one would care to know what will happen to them even if majority of the time you feel disgust towards their characters, but, they still made their characters human enough that the audience can feel a certain understanding and sympathy towards their characters in the end.

(4) I must salute the director and the writer of being able to write the story in a coherent, logical and totally consistent manner. They didn’t gear outside and against the premise they’ve given to the audience in regards to the facts laid out in the story regarding the parallel world and its consequences. They stayed true to the course and not bend their “illogical to be logical” plot to be illogical again just to connect the events and give a plausible end. This is one of the most sensible and entertaining sci-fi K-Dramas that I don’t have to leave my brains at the other side of the door and that leave too much questions in an already impossible occurrence to begin with.

(5) Great cast and a superb sci-fi suspense thriller from start to finish even without any romance.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

It is simply perfect to me and nothing need to be change.
