My Review:

I watched this Korean film because I got curious on how this film will play the game of revelations through the characters’ mobile phones. I was pleasantly surprised on how good it was done. It is true that our mobile phones is an extension of how we live our lives as we all live with 3 lives, the public life, the private life and the secret life.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) Yu Hae-Jin as Tae-Soo fits to “T” his character. He successful made me mad about the kind of man you wouldn’t want to marry.

(2) I saw Yum Jung-Ah in the k-drama of Sky Castle. Her role on that k-drama is the total antithesis of her character on the film as Soo-Hyun and she pulled it off. Her talent as an actress is quite impressive indeed.

(3) Cho Jin-Woong as Seok-Ho done a good job of reflecting his character of being a reasonable and loving father and his struggle to keep up with his strong and successful wife, Ye-Jin.

(4) Kim Ji-Soo enabled her character as Ye-Jin really look strong and as if well put together, so, the revelation of her secret life truly will surprise the audience. It surprised me and even on that short scene, I believe that’s the highlight of all secrets.

(5) Lee Seo-Jin as Joon-Mo really emitted the personality of a suave and a charmer of a man. You can love his character for his sensitivity and even you can get suck by his charm. So, when his secret got revealed, you will feel cheated on.

(6) Song Ha-Yoon as Se-Kyung effectively portrayed a woman totally in love and believes in her man even after what happened.

(7) It was the first time I watched a Korean drama or film that tackled about homosexual topic and Yoon Kyung-Ho as Young-Bae was very impressive in revealing the difficulty of the way gay people have to live with the discrimination in a conservative society in South Korea.

What I do Not Like About this K-Film?

This film would have been perfect except for how it ended. I thought at first the scene was in another time but, alas, it wasn’t. It seems the director and writer have to wrapped the film up fast, don’t know what to do afterwards with the characters and ended it in a disappointing way. I actually got confused of how the characters can go back to their usual life as if no devastating secrets got revealed about them. It would have been a great film if not for the nonsensical ending.

Would I recommend this K-Movie? Yes
