My Review:

I am not too familiar with the lead actors on this Kdrama. I just watched it because there’s nothing much interesting to watch that is under romcom genre and it was suggested as one of the underrated Kdramas that must be watch. As I am swayed by underdog sympathy, I ended up trying and check this out if it is indeed underrated and should have been given more appreciation by the audience or Kdrama addicts like me

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) I actually enjoyed Moon Ga Young playing the role of Yeo Ha Jin. She is very in tune with her character and I believe has made this Korean drama more interesting to watch than it should. She has made her character more relatable and likable that one will care what happens to her.

(2) There’s definitely a chemistry between the lead actors, Kim Dong Wook as Lee Jung Hoon and Moon Ga Young as Yeo Ha Jin even if I’m not too enamored with Kim Dong Wook as an actor. He was passable but not heartrending leading man that I can swoon over while watching this Kdrama. Having said that, together they provided a relatively good romcom that one can at least enjoy and have a light time watching in one lazy afternoon, so to speak.

(3) I like Kim Seul Gi as Yeo Ha Kyung character on this Kdrama. She was able to successfully portray an unselfish and lovable sister of Yeo Ha Jin. She provides realistic check on the character of Yeo Ha Jin without being annoying and still be lovable when she’s onscreen. Her romantic arc with Jo Il Kwon was not that bad either. In fact, there are times I enjoy watching them together on the screen as their relationship grew from friendship into something else.

(4) The stalker arc is not that bad as it reminds you how people can be psychologically ill to think that you are in love with him/her even if one didn’t even do anything except does something humanly good or a kind act. It does add a certain mysterious flavor on a quite simple script.

(5) It makes you appreciate the difficult life of popular people lead as well. Although, being famous has a lot of perks, it is indeed challenging when one doesn’t have the right to privacy and people continually feel they have the right to judge you in everything that you do just because your are famous or earning big bucks because one reached the famous status because of the fans.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

This Korean romcom drama is by far perfect but it is not that bad either. However, I wouldn’t go far to consider it underrated because it wasn’t that great if you miss the chance of watching it.

(1) It was interesting in the beginning but after awhile it becomes a bit tedious. It begs the question of what’s so bad that people will harshly judge you if one can remember everything or one wants to forget a certain past of one’s life in order to cope and survive something that’s so horrendous that one doesn’t want to remember.

(2) There are secondary stories that I personally felt wasn’t that interesting except the message of the important role of a medical doctor and its vow to serve and provide care to their patients without using them for their own personal agenda.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? It’s Okay.
