My Review:
So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?
(1) There are hilarious scenes that made me really laugh out loud. It is a good feeling because laughter is indeed an effective medicine for stress. Lee Sung Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk have great chemistry on screen. That’s why it isn’t surprising that the chemistry leaked out and spread to their real world and they became real couple.
(2) I appreciate that this k-drama showed the difficulty that athletes go through in order to achieve recognition in their field of sports. It does really require discipline and dedication so they can be on top of their sports.
(3) I enjoy the development of the romantic feelings between the characters and I love that Kim Bok Joo reflects typical feelings of a woman when in love even if one shows to have strength of character.
(4) I love the relationship shown between Kim Bok Joo and her father, the unconditional love given by the family of Dr. Jung Jae-Yi to Jung Joon Hyung and the bond of friendship among Kim Bok Joo, Lee Sun-Ok and Jung Nan-Hee.
(5) I like the way Kim Bok Joo showed Joon Hyung both the point of views of his biological mother and adopted mom. It is difficult at best for one to go beyond the hurt, be able to forgive and be magnanimously moves forward without resentment to the person who deeply hurt you especially if it is your mother.
What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?
There’s nothing much I don’t like much about this k-drama. It is a typical romcom with all the sweetness and joys of being young and in love. The actors have been excellent and truly the story was delivered in an excellent way.
Would I recommend this K-Drama? Yes
