My Review:

I watched this film because I got curious after I read about its synopsis. I thought it is going to be one of those ghost stories and a romcom. But, alas, the story was poignant and beautifully done.

So, What do I Like About this K-Film?

(1) I really don’t know the actors playing the role of the main leads. I’ve probably seen them from all the k-dramas and films I’ve watched all these years because they both look familiar and just didn’t really took notice about them but after watching this film, I will not forget. Kim Nam-Gil as Lee Kang-Soo and Chun Woo-Hee as Dan Mi-So did justice to their roles. They were excellent on this film and did deliver the characters as real as it can be.

(2) I love Chun Woo-Hee as Dan Mi-So. The way she portrayed her role on this film was very impressive. She externalised a quiet, accepting, and courageous lady who undergone lots of hardships but still was able to live life without bitterness and hate. She made the film worthy to watch.

(3) The story is heartrending and, even if it is tragic and sad, somehow, I still fell in love with the story. It depicts real life without being too dark that leaves you depress. After watching it, I felt sad but satisfied because it was properly rendered on how the way things are even if there’s a touch of supernatural.

(4) I’m impress with the director and the writer because they were able to depict a story that have a mix of unbelievable scenario yet was able to turn this as actually symbolic to the journey of both Lee Kang-Soo and Dan Mi-So.

What I do Not Like About this K-Film?

I wouldn’t change a thing on how this film was done. It was one of those tragic films that surprisingly still made me enjoy and love watching it.

Would I recommend this K-Film? Yes
