My Review:
I have not watch Shin Min Ah for quite some time and I always love her as an actress. She works on projects that are interesting, so, even if political k-drama is not normally my cup of tea when it comes to genre, I ended up watching this. Besides it is only 10 episodes, so, it is easy to finish if it is good and I can just stop watching it any time if it isn’t. Thank goodness. it was done exceptionally well that I didn’t regret wasting 10 hours of my life watching it.
So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?
(1) As always Shin Min Ah is beautiful and exuded talent on this k-drama. Although, she’s basically the second lead on this k-drama, she stood out and still delivered her role to a “T”.
(2) Lee Jung Jae as Jang Tae Joon is a revelation on this k-drama. He has done such an excellent work on this k-drama that could have ended to be boring if not for him.
(3) Kudos to the scriptwriter of this k-drama because the writer was able to create a story that would have been a snooze fest for me if not for the twist and turns of the plots. The writer made the characters real and depicts the good and the bad side of human beings. And, there are times trying to do good can really bring one to do something bad. As they say “The road to hell is paved with good intentions”.
(4) The number of episodes is just enough to make the story tight and fast-paced. No unnecessary scenes to make it longer.
(5) The ending is open-ended and I’m glad that they proceeded to immediately create Season 2 which in k-drama world sometimes take years to do so.
What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?
There’s not much I can complain about this k-drama as it delivered all the right ingredients to make a good political k-drama that’s at least entertaining to watch.
Would I recommend this K-Drama? Yes
