Synopsis:
Kang Yoo-Jung is a woman in love with her man, An Do-Hoon, whom she worked hard to financially and emotionally support, so, he can be a prosecutor. While Jo Min-Hyuk is a spoiled rich guy who is in love with Seo Ji-Hee, whom his rich family especially his father disapproves and wants him to marry Shin Se-Yeon, a daughter of a politician, that Jo Min-Hyuk’s father feel that this marriage will benefit his business. Kang Yoo-Jung, An Do-Hoo, Jo Min-Hyuk and Shin Se-Yeon would never have cross path if not for an unfortunate accident that occurred one night that led to a lot of secrets causing havoc to their lives.

My Review:
I always like Ji Sung as an actor. He is one of those k-drama actors that steadily creates melodrama that most of the time are good and do enjoy watching even if heavy dramas are not my cup of tea. He is a very good actor and one of those lucky enough to be both successful in career and family in real life in the world of Korean entertainment. Thus, I checked it out and didn’t realize I’ve seen this before but just wasn’t able to create a review the first time I watched it.
So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?
(1) As mentioned above Ji Sung is an excellent actor and he is no different from here. Thus, I enjoyed this k-drama because of him.
(2) This k-drama is one of those melodrama about love, family, and revenge that are mostly common during those years and I believed I kinda remember it when I accidentally watched it again now because overall, it wasn’t that bad.
(3) The story line is not that bad especially if you will compare it with other melodramas during those times.
(4) The supporting casts were also good even if there are a lot of characters.
What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?
(1) I don’t particularly like woman characters like Kang Yoo-Jung but I can certainly relate when a woman sacrifices for the man she loves but her character is way too extreme sometimes like allowing herself to go to prison because of a man.
(2) Although, as I’ve mentioned the story is not that bad but it isn’t that good either because its premise was way too common in a lot Korean melodramas.
(3) The plot is also quite predictable. If you watch a few episodes in beginning and jump in the ending, you already get the gist of the entire story and no need to waste 16 hours of your life watching it and being pissed off with An Do-Hoon and his mother.
Would I recommend this K-Drama?It’s Okay.
