My Review:

I watched this because lately, there’s nothing seems good to watch. Normally, I avoid heavy dramas and horror k-dramas, but, recently I find myself gravitate to those as there’s nothing can tickle my fancy when it comes to romcoms. Thus, I ended up seeing this k-drama plus I also considered the lead actors who I kinda like when I see them in other k-dramas. “Fates and Furies” is a typical revenge drama which really don’t have much new to offer except the brilliance of the talents of its actors.

So, What do I Like About this K-Drama?

(1) Joo Sang Wook and Lee Min Jung did well in portraying their roles as Tae In Joon and Goo Hae Ra, respectively. In fact, it is their talent and ability to connect to the audience that made me care about their characters and watch it all the way.

(2) I like that certain characters stay true to who they are till the end like So Yi Hyun as Cha Soo Hyun. She didn’t deviate to who she is even if in most k-dramas tend to have characters who turn to a new leaf just so to satisfy the unreasonable expectation of happy endings of the audience when it wasn’t even called for. It makes reel more real and believable.

(3) Although, the story line is very typical of revenge dramas, still, the director was able to make it interesting to watch.

What I do Not Like About this K-Drama?

The entire k-drama didn’t really serve something new to make it unique and have a brand of its own. Moreover, the lead actors who are both married in real life ends up having very limited physical intimacy which somehow hinders to make it more real especially that their roles are of age dealing with adult life issues and catering for a much mature audience.

Would I recommend this K-Drama? It’s Okay.
